On the sidelines of one of South Asia’s most prestigious pharmaceutical and medical equipment exhibitions, CPHI & PMEC India, a Business Matchmaking meeting was held between Iranian and Indian knowledge-based companies.
CPHI India annually hosts key players in the pharmaceutical and medical equipment industries from around the world, providing extensive opportunities for developing partnerships and facilitating technology transfer.
This meeting was organized with the initiative and support of Iran’s Innovation and Prosperity Fund, with the main objective of expanding technological cooperation, creating export and production opportunities, and developing regional markets in the fields of medicine, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and herbal products. Secure financial pathways and the use of existing banking mechanisms between the two countries were also among the main topics of discussion.
Iranian and Indian companies reviewed their shared capabilities and potential areas for joint production and research. The event created a platform for direct interaction, enabling companies to explore opportunities for co-development of products and access to new markets.
Among the Iranian participants, DPPC, a knowledge-based chemical-pharmaceutical company, presented its specialized capabilities and products in the pharmaceutical and chemical-drug sectors. Its discussions with Indian counterparts focused on potential collaboration in production, research and development, and strengthening supply chain processes.
The Iran–India Business Matchmaking and Commercial Marketing meeting, held on the sidelines of CPHI India, ultimately emphasized expanding technological ties, enhancing bilateral cooperation, and creating sustainable platforms to increase commercial engagement between knowledge-based companies. The event demonstrated how the support of innovation-focused organizations can play a decisive role in advancing the international trade of knowledge-based enterprises.
