Coinciding with the arrival of the mourning days of Imam Hussein (AS), the Master and Leader of Martyrs, DPPC held a religious ceremony featuring a commemorative speech and eulogy. The event was attended by CEO Saeed Hejari, senior executives, and a number of the company’s employees.
The ceremony commenced with a speech reflecting on the suffering and sacrifices endured by the family of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) during the tragic events of Karbala. The speaker highlighted the profound significance of the Ashura uprising and its timeless lessons for freedom-seeking people around the world. Emphasizing the enduring values of Imam Hussein’s (AS) movement, the speaker underscored the importance of following his example in all aspects of life, including the workplace and social responsibility, describing self-sacrifice, perseverance, and standing against oppression as among the movement’s most enduring principles.
The program also included elegies and devotional recitations performed by a renowned eulogist of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS), who recited Ashura-inspired poetry and lamentations in memory of Imam Hussein (AS), Hazrat Abbas (AS), and the martyrs of Karbala.
The ceremony concluded with participants reciting selected passages from Ziyarat Ashura, renewing their pledge to uphold the noble ideals of Imam Hussein (AS), and praying for the strength to follow his righteous path and exemplary way of life.
