Message from Mr. Saeid Hajjari, CEO of DPPC, on the occasion of Pharmacists’ Day

September 27, corresponding to the 5th of Shahrivar in the Persian calendar, marks the birth anniversary of Muhammad ibn Zakariya al-Razi, the distinguished Iranian scholar whose name is deeply intertwined with the art of alchemy and the science of pharmacy.

His enduring legacy may lie above all in the courage to discover—the courage to question, to experiment, and to venture into the unknown.

Today, the pharmaceutical industry stands on the continuation of that very path; a journey whose ultimate destination is the preservation of public trust.

Between a patient and the treatment of a disease, there is far more than a medicine. Behind every raw material, every test, every figure, and every decision lies an intricate chain of knowledge, precision, and responsibility—ultimately reaching an individual we may never meet, yet whose hope rests on the outcome of our work.

At DPPC, we are proud to be one of the links in this distinguished chain; a link in which quality and precision are not merely professional standards, but an integral part of the responsibility we carry toward human life.

Medicines are created through knowledge, technology, and high-quality raw materials. Yet beyond the walls of factories and laboratories, the pharmaceutical industry finds its deeper meaning in a human-centered vision of life and the future.

It is a perspective that reminds us that what we do is ultimately connected to the life of a fellow human being.

Centuries ago, Al-Razi pushed the boundaries of knowledge and lit a lasting flame of inquiry and experimentation—a light that transcended time and has reached our generation.

Now, it is our turn to keep this legacy alive; to build bridges from today’s knowledge toward tomorrow’s horizons, and to pass on what we have learned—with precision and responsibility—to the generations that follow.

Pharmacists’ Day is an opportunity to recognize and honor all those who, at every link in this chain, contribute to shaping the future of healthcare—from researchers and specialists to professionals, manufacturers, and all those who carry a part of this great responsibility with dedication and precision.

As a member of this family, I would like to extend my sincere congratulations on Pharmacists’ Day to my valued colleagues at DPPC. I wish all those dedicated to this vital field continued success, pride, and fulfillment in their ongoing service to the health and well-being of society.

Saeid Hajjari

Message from Mr. Saeid Hajjari, CEO of DPPC, on the occasion of Pharmacists’ Day September 27, corresponding to the 5th of Shahrivar in the Persian calendar, marks the birth anniversary of Muhammad ibn Zakariya al-Razi, the distinguished Iranian scholar whose name is deeply intertwined with the art of alchemy and the science of pharmacy.
